Consumer Data Right
Learn about Fiskil's journey to becoming an accredited data recipient. Tour the exact process, compliance grade, and its deep impact on data sharing.
As of September 9th Fiskil is an Accredited Data Recipient with the Consumer Data Right. This is a significant milestone for the team at Fiskil and we couldn’t be more proud of the work gone into getting us here.\n\nWe started this journey with the intent of providing the tools for innovators to securely access data. Throughout this process we’ve been driven by our beliefs that consumers have a right to freely access the information they own, and Australian developers need better tools to innovate with data.\n\nOur belief is that the CDR is more than a regulatory requirement that Bank’s open their data. It’s the provision of a data network that benefits all within it. It’s a way for consumers to securely give their data to whom they chose. And it’s a way for receivers of that data to transform it and add value. \n\nWe see the CDR being a cornerstone infrastructure for the Australian digital economy. It has the potential to unlock new businesses and products entirely.\n\nExciting things to come, both at Fiskil and for Australia.
